Abundant Life Farm is bringing a "Gardening with Children" program to Walker Valley NY in the Spring of 2012. The season will begin late March / early April.

Linda Borghi with life long experience will teach all classes.

Helping something to grow is empowering and empowerment needs to have fertile soil in which to grow. Below we have listed a look into some of the aspects of the Gardening with Children Program through the seasons.

In the Spring we will learn about life cycles and how to approach the beginning of that cycle. We will work on our observation skills and our sensitivity skills working in the cold frames.

In the Summer we will plant the educational garden beds. We will need to hone in on our math skills as well as critical thinking.

In the Fall we will harvest the fruits of our labor and celebrate the process going forward.

We will use your best form of communication to contact you to schedule your first free class and go over any questions that you might have.

There are no obligations other than the caregivers are required to stay with the children during the first free class. If the child wishes to continue separate arrangements will be made at that time.

In the mean time we are planning and planting with the anticipation of the children from 2 - 12 years of age.....they all love it , need it and embrace it because it is empowering to many aspects their being.
