Gardening With Children

The Gardening with Children Program is structured to teach your children how to grow their own nutrient dense food. We follow the SPIN farming/gardening business model and we grow Biodynamically. Our crops include produce, fruit, medicinal herbs, honey and mushrooms. We will observe the movement of the frogs and butterflies as well as the movement of the planets.

All children receive the first class free and if their parents can't afford the "tuition" Abundant Life Farm will give "scholarships" to as many as possible. The idea is to teach people to eat the food where they live and how to grow it in their own backyards. The best way to accomplish this is via teaching the children, who will teach their parents.
My passion is to teach as many people as possible how to grow their own healthy food; I want to help people take control of their own food supply because if we don't, we will be eating what the multi-national corporations offer and that's not healthy at all.
This season we are making a documentary film on the Gardening with Children Program. John Hazard, who is a local of Ulster Heights and has worked for both National Geographic and the Discovery Channel, wants to be a SPIN Farmer...so in exchange for the education he will be filming. Below please find a Model Realease form and this must be signed if you want your child in the film.

At the bottom of the page I have included a google calendar that will give you the time and age group for the classes and briefly what "tasks" will be performed. As reservations are made I will post the first name of the child attending this way everyone can see how many are attending for that particular lesson. The maximum per class is 10 and it's always the maximum fun when we have 10. If anything is unclear please send me an email Lborghi@abundantlifefarm.com. Future Farmers of the Planet Earth Club
The below group "Future Farmers of the Planet Earth Club" is for all children that want to learn how to grow their own food. Anyone can join and it's Free! It is meant to connect the Future Farmers of the Planet Earth all over the globe. Children to children will transforn the world. This season 20% of all the sales of our market goods will go to support The Future Farmers of the Planet Earth Club/ Sierra Leone Division.
